Please Don't Wake Me Up!

If I am dreaming, please don't wake me up. For years, everyone asked me why I had so many horses. I wasn't even sure myself. Twenty-two horses in a family with one rider... Crazy! As a child, it's all I ever wanted to do. As an adult, fear set in. Now I ride when my faithful friends are there to motivate me. Yet, I have devoted my entire life to my horses. For my daughter, Morgan...it is her life's passion. So a few months ago I was having one of my "dream world" days, and I decided to search for barns for sale in my area. Forever Sky Ranch was what I found. Jolee, the founder and designer of this barn, also had a dream. Jolee has dreams much larger than I could ever imagine. She built this facility with all of the comforts that a horse or rider could ever desire. When she took me on a tour of the barns and the property, I was in absolute awe of all that she had thought of....things I had never even heard of. It is obvious that she spared no expense and that this facility was built to be used by those people who "have a love" for horses like I do. Thank you Jolee for allowing me to take over where you left off, and thank you to my supportive husband, Kim, for always putting up with my dreams. Thanks also to my son, Brayden, who puts up with our endless hours at the barn and shows...he is so grateful for the pond. To Alyssa, for agreeing to live on the property, help feed, train, give lessons, and to get some of these horses that thought they were retired back into shape. Then of-course to my family and friends, who I couldn't do anything without because you are my support system and soon to be my labor force. I hope that whether you are a boarder, rider, friend, family member, or just a horse lover in general, that you will come visit the facility and enjoy it as much as I know we are going to. We are counting the days as we are anxiously awaiting our Grand Opening!

A dream is a goal without a clear path. Yet every goal can be reached if you have the faith to take the first step and the courage to persist when the path is difficult. If you use your dream to help others reach theirs you will never lose your way.

Seeing how I think in terms of problems and solutions.. I think this property is going to be a wonderful "solution" to the many prematurely retired horses and young horses full of promise that you own... Every horse deserves to be used and feel useful and loved.Just like people , I think they are happy when they can give effort and be rewarded versus just going through the chow line each day! I know what joy comes from grooming a horse and learning to care for and ride one. The opportunity for girls and boys of all ages to experience this is just around the corner it seems! Jamie, I know exactly how excited you are! It's always great to have your dreams within reach. I've lived this same dream for over 35 years and am forever blessed for all the great people and wonderful horses who have come into my life over the years. Best of luck!

Congratulations on transforming Forever Sky into your dream of Trinity Farm. It is a fabulous farm - you're right Jolee did it up right! I miss it!
I am a chiropractor and do canine and equine body work and therapeutic laser. Let me know if if you or your boarders can ever use my services on their horses. I work with their veterinary's authorization to provide the best benefit to their horses. I may come up and visit - it is a beautiful place! Good luck to you!
